Review Your Finances.

Understand how much you can afford. Decide how much you want to spend; experts recommend the mortgage payment should not exceed 30% of your gross income. Decide how much you want to save for a downpayment or how much you will use from your savings for a downpayment.

Get Pre-Approved!

Being pre-approved for a home loan gives the buyer strength when submitting an offer. A pre-approval shows that you can secure a mortgage, which is a great advantage when buying a home! Choose the lender you wish to work with or reach out to our preferred lender, Sheila Eisert with Cascade Northern Mortgage. Visit Sheila’s website to learn more and to start the online application.

Find Your Dream Home!

Now that you’re pre-approved, you will be able to shop smartly to find the perfect home that meets your needs and budget. Look through our floor plans and make notes of your favorite plans. Check out our available homes to see where you can find your favorite floor plans.

Get into Contract on Your Dream Home.

The next step is getting into contract! Reach out to Cedar Ridge Homes and work with our agent to get an accepted offer on your dream home.

Plans and the Permit Process.

Submitting plans to the city for permits can take up to two months. Once permits have been issued, the excavation begins and the foundation is poured. Construction process from the foundation pour to completion is approximately 120 days.

During Construction.

Our field supervisors work with our subcontractors to ensure the home is completed with the highest standards, as well as, inspections performed by the City inspectors. As completion nears, we will provide you with a confirmed completion date, availability dates for private home inspection, final appraisal (if needed), and confirm the closing date.

Homeowner Orientation: Final Walk-through.

Our project manager will introduce you to your new home and explain your home systems. This meeting is approximately two hours long and provides you with valuable information pertaining to the care and operations of your brand-new home.

Closing on Your Home!

You signed with escrow prior to the closing date. Escrow and your agent will notify you once the home has been recorded with the City. Upon recording and funding, move into your dream home!

YOU ARE NOW A HOMEOWNER! Congratulations!

Your Home Warranty.

Your home includes a 2-10 limited warranty. We enroll each of our homes with Quality Builders Warranty Corporation. Prior to closing, you will receive warranty packet information.
